Our Staff


  • Mary Miazga , DVM

    Dr. Mary has been at Rockville Road Animal Hospital since April 2003. She enjoys all aspects of general medicine, especially surgery.  She and her husband have a son.  Her family also includes dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and a horse.  Outside of work, Dr. Mary loves spending time with her family, as well as the outdoors, running, biking, and gardening.


  • Kelli Barton , DVM

    Dr. Kelli Barton joined our staff in June 2014.  She graduated from Ontario Veterinary College.  Dr. Barton has a fondness for cats and loves performing surgery and working with our clients.  Outside of work she has a 2nd Dan (blackbelt) in Tang Soo Do martial arts, is an aquarium hobbyist, and is learning Spanish.  Dr. Barton and her husband have  two domestic shorthair cats named Nibbles and Lieutenant, a blind domestic medium hair cat named Copernicus, and a gray domestic shorthair cat named Sticks.
  • Michael Hanlon , DVM

    Dr. Hanlon came to RRAH in the summer of 2015.  He completed his undergraduate and master's degrees at Purdue University and then went to vet school at Iowa State.  His favorite areas of veterinary medicine are surgery and general medicine.  When he is away from his work duties, Dr. Hanlon loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, and playing video games.  His family has a husky mix named Rocky.
  • Nancy Fox , DVM

    Dr. Fox has been with Rockville Road Animal Hospitals since October 2000. She enjoys performing soft tissue surgeries, and especially enjoys interacting with clients and client education. She and her husband have three children.  They also have three dogs.  In her free time, Dr. Fox enjoys backpacking, camping, and running.


  • Aimee Hrunek , DVM

    Dr. Hrunek joined RRAH in March 2010.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and her DVM degree from Purdue University.  She truly enjoys practicing veterinary medicine; her special interests include soft-tissue surgery, preventative medicine and client education.  In her free time, Dr. Hrunek enjoys road biking, running, horseback riding, listening to music, and traveling.  She and her husband live with a dog, Kyah, and cat, Madison.
Veterinary Technicians

  • Shawn Phelps , BS, RVT

    Shawn has worked at RRAH since 2005. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology.  Shawn's professional interests include anesthesia, surgical nursing, radiology and physical rehabilitation.  Shawn and her husband share their home with a Golden Retriever named Gasoline Alley. In her free time Shawn enjoys reading, scrapbooking, geocaching, traveling, and NASCAR.

  • Meghan Meneely , BS, RVT

    Meghan has been at RRAH since March 2008. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology.  Meghan loves working with patients and educating clients.  She and her husband share a home with a cat named Kacen and a dachshund mix named Kona.  In her free time Meghan enjoys spending time with her friends and family.  She also has many hobbies including scrapbooking, playing Wii, reading, doing puzzles, watching movies and TV, camping, and listening to music.

  • Colleen Seal , RVT

    Colleen is a veterinary technology major from Purdue University and has been at Rockville Road Animal Hospital since 1989.  When she is not at work, she likes to hang out at home in Brown County and either relax or do home improvements.  She also enjoys camping, canoeing, and being a grandma.  Colleen has two loving dogs and three rotten cats at home.
  • Katy Ritacco , RVT

    Katy is back with us part-time as she is also working at an emergency veterinary clinic.  Her favorite areas of veterinary medicine are emergency care and laboratory work.  Outside of work Katy enjoys making crafts, reading, and taking care of her furless child.  Her children with fur are dogs Max, Ty, and Paisley and a cat named Inigo Montoya.
Veterinary Assistants

  • Jennifer Dean

    Jennifer, an Indiana Univerisity graduate, became a member of the Rockville Road  team in 2001.  Besides her duties as a veterinary assistant, Jennifer manages the inventory for both of our clinics.  Outside of work, Jennifer's interests include watching IU basketball, Notre Dame football, and Cubs baseball.  She also enjoys traveling with her friends.  Jennifer has one dog at home.
  • Amber Rogers

    Amber joined our staff in October 2014.  She enjoys working with our patients and learning new tricks of the trade so she can be an even better veterinary assistant.  Luckily for us, she is a quick learner.  Away from work Amber enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, playing video games, baking, and making arts and crafts.  She has two big dogs named Goku and Shelby.  She also has three cats - Pandora, Nyx, and Roshi.
  • Skyler Wood

    Syler joined the RRAH staff in June of 2015.  Skyler is currently earning a veterinary assistant certificate and he plans to complete his externship with us.  Skyler has a great interest in herpetological studies and is a reptile/amphibian breeder and collector.  He has entrepreneuristic goals, does exotic animal interactive and educational shows, and is involved in wildlife rehabilitation.  Skyler has a rottweiler mix, 2 blood pythons, 3 Columbian redtail boas, 2 California kingsnakes, 1 Nile monitor, 1 rose hair tarantula, and plans to breed and adopt even more critters!
Reception Staff

  • Jennifer Crisman

    Jennifer started working at Rockville Road in June 2008. She has been working in veterinary clinics since 2002.  She graduated from Ball State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology.  Jennifer and her husband live with two dogs: a Doberman mix and a Cairn Terrier mix. They also have a sweet, little black cat.   Jennifer volunteers for an exotic animal rescue and has adopted a number of exotic pets including: a chinchilla, degu, guinea pigs and rabbits.  In her free time Jennifer enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

  • Kathy Piercy

    Kathy, who is a cosmetologist by trade, has been working with our reception staff since 2013.  She likes greeting clients and watching how they interact with their pets.  She also enjoys learning what goes on behind the scenes of a veterinary clinic and working together with the rest of the staff.  Away from work, she loves motorcycling with her husband and spending time with her three daughters who constantly make her laugh.  She also enjoys home remodeling, country music, and vacationing in Gulf Shores, AL.  Kathy's family has three dogs (Harley, Alabama, and Lola) and 2 cats (Sgt. Pepper and Annie).
  • Alyssa Woltman

    We had the pleasure of hiring Aly in the summer of 2015.  As part of our reception team, Aly enjoys greeting clients and interacting with pets.  When she is not at RRAH, Aly likes to sing, play piano, read, and attempt to learn craft projects.  She has a DSH cat named Peppurr.
  • Alysha Ash

    Alysha joined the RRAH team as a receptionist in November of 2011.  Her interests at work include nutrition therapy and natural medicine.  Outside of work, she is involved in hound and large dog rescue along with waterfowl rescue and rehabilitation.  When Alysha is not caring for her 11 dogs, 2 goats, 12 chickens, 12 ducks, and a goose she enjoys camping, hiking, classic cars and vintage motorcycles, and shopping at flea markets and garage sales.  Alysha earned a degree in anthropology from Iowa State University and she enjoys learning about medical history.
